Astra Club — Sign up to run for officers outside of Mrs. There is a sheet on the wall. The deadline to sign up is May 7. Only students receiving honor cords and awards will attend. Today the lineup for the fall edition of They played BuzzFest 27 last fall on the strength of a handful of well-received singles on the modern-rock station. The Silversun Pickups are touring now behind their newest disc, Neck of the Woods , and also coming into a bit of a stir with the Mitt Romney camp for the Republican presidential candidate using their "Panic Switch" for campaign events.

Support Us Houston's independent source of local news and culture. The National Anthem tryouts will be held for the first time in conjunction with BuzzFest with a panel of celebrity judges. The national anthem auditions will be performed a cappella or with instruments that do not use electricity. Singers can apply individually or as a group. Performance times are subject to availability. Decisions will not be made the day of the event, and all who audition will be notified at a later date with regards to a performance at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
