If he gets up, restart and retry until he dies :P. Yes the cheap way to kill him is to let Vanille learn Death. At the start of battle, use Vanille's summon. Adamantoise will then fall to the ground. Use this time to cast Death over and over again hoping that it will 1-hit kill him. Keep Vanille casting Death. Have Fang go SAB and debuff the hell out of the turtle, then when the summon's meter is almost empty go into Gestalt mode.
You should end up taking about 1mil from the turtle from the summon. This sometimes works, and sometimes he gets back up and kills you. Still, this is a little less cheap than the Death method. I always use Lightning, Fang, and Hope.
The Adamantoise fight is a marathon, not a sprint. It is nearly impossible to complete at an average post-game player level between before 45 minutes or an hour have passed, and it is easy to get impatient and begin spamming Warp Strike attacks and hoping they connect. That's a recipe for disaster, however, as having Noctis enter Stasis when he's near Adamantoise's head will result in him plummeting hundreds of feet into the rocky ground, which will almost always put him in Danger immediately.
Instead, keep an eye on your MP bar, make sure to chain Warp Strikes when available, and always play it safe and use a Warp Point whenever you think Adamantoise is gearing up to strike back. While this goes against the general advice of this article, if you're comfortable in the middle of the fight with the rhythm and strategy required, we highly recommend sitting underneath one of Adamantoise's charged attacks and timing the block right so that Noctis can parry it.
It results in one of the cooler party animations in the game, and it's a neat little easter egg that doubles as a quick source of burst damage against Adamantoise. The Adamantoise fight is daunting, to be certain, but it is a very doable fight that relies less on perfect timing and more on a patient, measured approach. While an hour or two might seem like a ridiculous length for a boss fight, keep in mind that Final Fantasy 15 's Adamantoise fight was originally advertised as lasting multiple days.
Remembering that fact during the fight will help make it go by a bit more quickly, and if you follow the tips from this guide, the Adamantite Bangle, 50, gil, and most important, sick bragging rights will be yours in no time at all. When it comes to Final Fantasy 15 , there is no boss bigger or badder than Adamantoise. Beating Adamantoise isn't for the faint of heart, but our guide will make it easier. Prepare Ahead of Time This one should go without saying, but because it's so important, we're saying it anyways - make sure you're stocked up on all of the hi-potions, elixirs, and mega phoenixes you can get your hands on.

I was 3ven able to skip around a third of its health due to the way enemies explode when you use the ring! I had to heal maybe once. Adamantoise is a giant turtle-like boss in Final Fantasy XV. It is located near the main hub in the game, Hammerhead outpost.
The hunt for the this giant beast is a part of the Let sleeping mountains lie quest , that is given to you by Cindy in Hammerhead after finishing Final Fantasy XV. During this quest, you must wake up the turtle. You can then go to the diner and accept the Lonely Rumblings in Longwythe hunt. Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands, stock up on healing potions and patience and head into the fight, as this will be the longest fight in FFXV.
This turtle is already known for making an appearances in the Final Fantasy universe since FF 2, and in this case, Noctis and friends will have the chance to fight it after the journey is finished.
Before the game was released, there was information that the fight can lead up to 72 hours , but you should be able to handle the fight in an hour or two. Adamantoise is a level 99 monster, and has the biggest amount of HP than any other creature in Eos. This Turtle is most vulnerable to Greatswords , so make sure you equip one before the fight. All the other weapons will come in handy as well, but the greatsword will give you damage boost when you attack the turtle.
The fight itself will be long and very repetitive, as this boss has over 5 million HP. When you see that the eye opens up, try to make some hits there, as it will give you some more damage gain as the eye is the weakest point of the turtle. In the end, it will give you over 40k exp points, but the satisfaction will be a greater reward. The citizens that went into hiding will come out, and you can go to the tipster and claim your reward for gil and an Adamantite Bangle. What am I missing?
